General Terms and Conditions (GTC) for accommodation at the Roensch Guesthouse (as of: currently valid for booking or use of the accommodation)

§ 1 Scope

These terms and conditions apply to all contracts concluded by a guest regarding the booking of accommodation at the Roensch guesthouse, as well as to all related services and deliveries provided by the guesthouse.

Any differing terms and conditions of the guest will not be recognized unless the host expressly agrees to them in writing.

§ 2 Formation of the contract

An accommodation contract is concluded as soon as the accommodation has been booked and confirmed by Gästehaus Roensch.

Confirmation can be given electronically or in writing.

§ 3 Services, Prices and Payment

The contracting party receives the use of the booked accommodation unit for the agreed period.

The prices include statutory taxes and agreed services (e.g. breakfast, Wi-Fi, parking), unless otherwise agreed.

Payment is generally made as agreed via the booking platform (e.g. Booking.com) or directly on site in cash or by prior arrangement.

For additional services used on site, the guest is obliged to pay upon departure or as agreed.

§ 4 Arrival and Departure

Check-in is usually possible from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM on the day of arrival. Guests are requested to inform the staff of their expected arrival time in advance.

On the day of departure, the accommodation must be vacated by 11:00 AM.

Any deviations from the schedule must be agreed upon with the guesthouse in advance.

§ 5 Cancellation and No-Show

Cancellation and prepayment policies may vary depending on the booking option (e.g., flexible or non-refundable rate), therefore the conditions displayed at the time of booking apply.

In case of no-show or late cancellation without explicit agreement, cancellation fees may apply.

§ 6 House Rules

Smoking is not permitted in the accommodation.

Parties or events are not allowed.

Guests are asked to be considerate of other guests and the neighborhood, especially during quiet hours between 10:00 pm and 6:00 am.

Pets are generally not allowed unless otherwise agreed.

Any damage or loss to the accommodation must be reported immediately.

§ 7 Obligations of the guest

The guest agrees to treat the accommodation and all facilities with care and to use them properly.

Damage or malfunctions must be reported to the host immediately.

The guest is liable for any damage or loss caused by him or his companions.

§ 8 Liability of the host

The host is liable for damages caused by intent or gross negligence.

Liability for minor omissions or for disruptions in performance due to force majeure is excluded.

§ 9 Final Provisions

Changes and additions to these terms and conditions must be in writing.

German law applies.

The place of performance and – insofar as permissible – the place of jurisdiction is the location of the guesthouse.
